Frequently Asked Questions
How do I order?
Please refer to our How to order page for more details.
Alternatively, you can contact us at [email protected] if you would like to have a customised order.
I am a fish store/dealer and I would like to purchase fish from you. How do I proceed?
Send an email to us! We are able to supply in wholesale quantities.
How do you manage to get so many rare and exotic fishes?
Some of the fishes are farmed directly by us or our partners. Others are exotic fishes found during our fish hunts. We take pride in our fish selection as we always visit the farms or breeders in person to make sure that they practice sustainable methods to farm their fish.
Sometimes, we only have a couple of days to make a decision on the purchase of the fish due to its rarity. Hence, we seek your understanding when some fishes are out of stock within a few days.
How do I find out more about the fish that I am interested in?
Apart from using Google, feel free to write to [email protected] and we will do our best to answer all your inquiries.
I am looking for a specific fish but I do not see it on your website. Can you get it for me?
Yes, of course! Please send us a request for quotation (RFQ) to [email protected].
Please note that import/export regulations may differ country to country and this may affect supply if fish is not legal in your country.
Can I pick my fish up personally?
Local pick up is not available at the moment.

SHIPPING
Do you ship international?
Due to the Covid19 situation, we are establishing new lines to ship out of Singapore.
Please check with us before ordering.
What are the shipping charges to my address?
Please check with your chosen transhipper for the shipping charges to your home address.
We will ship the fish to the transhipper and he will send it to your home address
When do I get my fish after I order?
Once payment is received, we will book a slot with your chosen transhipper on the next flight for your fish.
Quarantine begins 4 days before the departure date. The fish will not be fed during quarantine to 'clean out' their digestive system.
This reduces the chance in the fish falling ill during shipping due to poor water quality.
We will inform you when the fish departs and the transhipper will advise when to expect the fish to arrive at your doorstep.
What do I need to prepare for the new arrival?
We strongly encourage you to read the acclimation guide that we have written. Additional reading up to make sure that you are well-equipped with the knowledge for the new addition to your tank will help.
Why does the fish I just receive not look like the one in the photos?
Stress caused by shipping will affect the appearance of the fish upon arrival. This is very normal, if you are prepared for the arrival with the acclimation and the additional knowledge, the color of the fish will return in a few days.
Some or all of the fishes arrived dead. What do I do?
We at Nlesblu assure you that this is very rare, however, if fishes happen to arrive dead, we require a picture of that tropical fish within TWO hours of receipt.
As every claim is different, we will not be listing a "standard operating procedure" for resolution.
What we can assure you is that your satisfaction is our priority and every genuine claim will be handled individually.
A lot of hard work is done to ensure that shipped fishes arrive safely and live a long healthy life in your tank.
Regrettably, shipping costs will not be refunded.
